About this project
This is the latest glimpse of how Rochdale’s transformed town centre could look.
The £100m plans for a leisure and shopping area around Baillie Street – to be named Rochdale Riverside – are expected to be submitted soon.
It’s part of the widespread regeneration of the town centre, which has included the opening up of the River Roch, a new bus station and council offices and the introduction of the Metrolink.
High street giants Next and M&S have already signed up to the scheme, with Reel also expected to open a six-screen cinema on the site.
Working with TP Bennett, Arcadis and the client Genr8, VP produced all of the Verified Views for the planning application along with the marketing CGIs.
