This is how a major Salford Quays junction would look if Chris Boardman’s master plan to transform cycling is rolled out across the region.

The Olympian and cycling tsar has today unveiled his latest three schemes, which are destined for Wigan and Salford.

To be considered by Greater Manchester Combined Authority next week, they are part of the Mr Boardman’s £1.5bn vision to create a network of ‘beelines’ across Greater Manchester.

Virtual Planit have produced all of the CGIs for the schemes coming forward.
